This is CPT Kiyara Hameed reporting for duty! As a student, cadet, and athlete at Blythewood High School, I am always active and driven in all activities I take part in. As a student, I make good grades, as a cadet, I'm a team member of the BHS JROTC Rifle Team, and as an athlete, I play on the varsity volleyball team. As commander of Charlie, I have made it the concrete goal for Charlie to be the best and nothing but the best. In this company everyone is motivated to be a better citizen. The students are expected to not only be the sharpest cadets, but be motivated, dedicated, and fired up when doing so. Part of my leadership role is to teach my subordinates to be confident, respectful, and positively decisive but while teaching them to do so, as a true leader, I set the example first.
